CS Creative was recently honored with two top awards from the American Marketing Association (AMA) in Houston at the 23rd Annual AMA Houston Crystal Awards gala. The prestigious event, held at the Hotel Intercontinental in Houston, recognized those who have exhibited marketing mastery through successful campaigns throughout the past year.
Nominated as a finalist in two categories, CS Creative was honored to capture a top prize for both entries. The categories included best online marketing campaign and best magazine advertising campaign. Both nominations were recognitions for work encompassed in the Economic Conductivity campaign for CARBO, a world leader in oil and gas productivity solutions.
In addition to the quality of creative execution, CS Creative’s entries were chosen based on the impressive marketing results achieved for their client. CARBO’s sales rose by 19 percent and revenue increased by 30 percent in the quarter following the campaign launch.
“These results are a testament to the success of our Economic Conductivity technical marketing effort,” said Gary Kolstad, president and CEO of CARBO.
AMA Houston’s Crystal Awards show is recognized as one of the most challenging and coveted marketing award competitions in the nation. Juried by a panel of independent experts from across the country, AMA entries are evaluated on their creativity and marketing effectiveness. Each entry must include a three-page written case study detailing the challenge, objectives and strategy accompanied by proof of results. Of the 233 entries submitted, only 30 firms were awarded the coveted prize. “We are honored that CS Creative and CARBO received these prestigious honors, especially with such strong competition,” said Steve Bell, director of global marketing communications for CARBO. “Needless to say, this is great affirmation of the hard work and creativity the team put into this campaign.”
The AMA Houston is an organization dedicated to supporting marketing professionals with leading educational information, career-building resources and valuable networking opportunities.
