Welcome Glenn!

Hi everyone! Great news….we have just hired a new employee who will be working at TI.  Glenn started work last week in the Global Analog Internet Marketing division. Following is a short  introduction from Glenn. Please join me in welcoming him to the CSC team!

“I’m excited to be part of the CS Creative team, and to be working with the Analog Semiconductor group at Texas Instruments. While ‘Analog Internet Marketing’ might seem like an oxymoron, it actually refers to the analog semiconductor chips that are found in nearly every electronic device. The goal of the job is surprisingly simple: help TI, engineers and tech-savvy customers leverage internet technologies to communicate better. There is such a wide range of strategies and possibilities that I am really eager to see where the job takes me!”

“My career experience has evolved from small business website design to corporate site design and management, then into more marketing-focused areas like Search Engine Optimization and paid search marketing. I’ve worked in both corporate client and agency settings, with a broad skill set targeted at making websites “do more” than just provide information.”

“Outside work, I am the captain of a scenario paintball team, teach improvisational acting and perform at Scarborough Renaissance Festival, host wine/food education classes, and I’m an avid gamer in formats from the PC to boardgames.”

Please join me in welcoming aboard Shaneli!

Well, it’s official, we now have a CS Creative California branch! Shaneli will be contracting for us at Nokia.  Below is a little more information from Shaneli herself.  Please feel free to comment and leave her a welcome note here, as she doesn’t have her work email set up yet.

“I am ecstatic to join the CS Creative team as a Marketing Manager for the Nokia Point and Find Division.  Point and Find is an exciting new technology that allows you to point your mobile phone at an object and access content and services relevant to your “social” location.  Imagine walking through a museum and pointing your phone at a painting and getting information on the artist and why and when they created the piece.  Sounds a bit complicated- but I have no doubt many of us will be using it in the near future!

I’m a California native – growing up in the Cupertino area (home of Apple) – and have lived in various parts of the San Francisco Bay Area most of my life (with short stints in New York-home of my twin sister, and Hotlanta).  I studied Mass Communications at the University of California, Bezerkley – and now live in San Francisco, with my wonderful eight year old daughter.

Previous to joining CS, I was director of marketing at Mobilestorm – who provided email and mobile marketing software and consulting to brands such as MGM Grand, Kaiser Permanente, Overstock.com and more.  I have held both client-side and agency-side management responsibilities – from marketing and media strategy  to complex marketing analytics for a broad range of brands from consumer services to B2B clients. “
